NFL fans, it's almost that time.

Before we know it, football will be back on our TVs every Sunday, and after what we saw last

season, the NFL is as wide open as it has been in a long time.

Last year, we watched the Seattle Seahawks shock the football world and win Super Bowl LX

over the New England Patriots. Now the question becomes simple.

Can anybody knock Seattle off the mountain?

In my opinion, the Seahawks are the team to beat until somebody proves otherwise.

They have the confidence, the momentum, and now they know what it takes to win it all. Every

team in the NFL is chasing them entering 2026.

But Seattle is not the only team with championship aspirations.

You can never count out Patrick Mahomes and the Kansas City Chiefs.

I feel like we say it every year, but it's true. As long as Mahomes is under center, the Chiefs

have a chance. It does not matter who they lose or who they add. They always find a way to be

playing meaningful football in January.

Then there is Baltimore.

The Ravens have one of the most complete rosters in football, and Lamar Jackson continues to

prove he is one of the most dynamic players the game has ever seen. The talent is there. The

coaching is there. The question is whether they can finally get over the hump when the playoffs

arrive.

The same can be said for Buffalo.

Josh Allen is one of the best quarterbacks in the NFL. Nobody questions that. But eventually,

the Bills have to break through and win the big one. Every year they look capable. Every year

they are in the conversation. Now it is about finishing the job.

One team that has become impossible to ignore is Washington.

Jayden Daniels has completely changed that franchise. The Commanders play with confidence,

swagger, and belief. They are no longer just a feel good story. They are a legitimate contender

in the NFC.

Cincinnati is another team nobody wants to see if they are healthy.

Joe Burrow is one of the best quarterbacks in football, and when he is healthy, the Bengals can

beat anybody. The challenge for Cincinnati has always been staying healthy and putting

everything together for a full season.

Then you have Houston.

If you are asking me for a sleeper team, it is the Texans.

C.J. Stroud has become one of the NFL's brightest young stars, and Houston continues to add

talent around him. They are young, exciting, and dangerous. Do not be surprised if the Texans

make a deep playoff run.

Detroit is still in the mix as well.

The Lions have built one of the toughest rosters in football. They are physical, well coached,

and talented enough to compete with anybody. Even with the NFC getting tougher, Detroit is still

a team nobody wants to see in January.

Now let's talk about a team that I think deserves more attention entering 2026.

The Jacksonville Jaguars.

Let's talk about Trevor Lawrence.

For years, people have talked about the potential. The talent. The arm strength. The leadership.

The question has always been when everything would finally come together.

I believe we are getting close.

Trevor Lawrence has always had the ability to be one of the best quarterbacks in football.

Clemson fans saw it first when he led the Tigers to a national championship. Now in the NFL, it

feels like the pieces around him are finally starting to match his talent.

The Jaguars have built a team that can compete. They have a young roster, a quarterback they

believe in, and a team that believes they can make noise in the AFC.

Entering 2026, this feels like a huge year for Lawrence. This is the season where he can

officially put himself into the conversation as one of the elite quarterbacks in the NFL.

And I am going to make a prediction that some people may not expect.

Trevor Lawrence is my MVP pick for 2026.

I know the names. Patrick Mahomes. Lamar Jackson. Josh Allen. Those guys will always be in

the conversation.

But sometimes MVP comes down to the player who takes a team from good to great.

That is Trevor Lawrence.

If Jacksonville is competing for a top seed in the AFC and Lawrence puts together the type of

season many people believed he was capable of, do not be surprised if we are talking about

him as the best quarterback in football.

The former Clemson star has heard the doubters. He has dealt with the criticism. Now it is time

to see if he can silence everybody.

And personally, I believe he can.

So who are the true contenders entering 2026?

Seattle Seahawks.

Kansas City Chiefs.

Baltimore Ravens.

Buffalo Bills.

Washington Commanders.

Cincinnati Bengals.

Houston Texans.

Detroit Lions.

Jacksonville Jaguars.

Those are the teams I trust the most heading into the season.

Now let's talk about pressure.

The team under the most pressure entering 2026 is Buffalo.

At some point, the Bills have to get over the hump. Josh Allen has already established himself

as one of the elite quarterbacks in football. The roster is talented. The expectations are there.

Now it is about delivering.

My sleeper team is Houston.

My MVP prediction is Trevor Lawrence.

My bold prediction?

Trevor Lawrence wins NFL MVP and Jacksonville makes a deep playoff run.

As for my Super Bowl prediction, give me the defending champion Seattle Seahawks against

the Kansas City Chiefs.

Until somebody proves otherwise, those are the two teams I trust the most.

One thing is certain. The NFL is loaded with quarterback talent right now. Mahomes, Allen,

Lamar, Burrow, Daniels, Stroud, Lawrence, and so many others make every Sunday must watch

television.

The race to the Super Bowl starts now.

We will find out who is for real, who is overrated, and who is ready to surprise the football world.
